Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 28, 2026  ·  Developer: Jiayin Li  ·  App: AllMyBatteries

This Privacy Policy explains how Jiayin Li ("we", "us", "our") handles your information when you use the AllMyBatteries app and its extensions (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, widgets, Siri Intents). Please read it carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.

1. What AllMyBatteries Does

AllMyBatteries monitors and displays battery levels for your Apple devices, AirPods, Bluetooth accessories, and connected peripherals. Battery data is synced privately across your own devices via iCloud so you can see all your batteries in one place. No user account or registration is required to use the app.

2. Data We Collect and Why

The app collects only the information necessary to provide its core functionality:

Category What is collected Why
Device & battery data Device name, model, OS version, battery level, charging state, and historical battery logs for each of your Apple devices and accessories. To display battery status and trends across your devices.
Bluetooth device data Names and battery levels of nearby Bluetooth accessories you authorize the app to scan. To show battery levels for headphones, keyboards, mice, and other Bluetooth peripherals.
iCloud / CloudKit Battery records are stored in your personal, private iCloud container (CloudKit zone: DevicesZone). To sync your device list and battery history across your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Only you can access this data — we cannot read or access your iCloud storage.
Push notification tokens A device token used to deliver local or remote low-battery alerts, if you grant notification permission. To send battery-level alerts you configure in the app.
App usage analytics (iOS only) Anonymous usage events, crash reports, and performance metrics collected via Umeng Analytics (UMCommon / UMDevice / UMAPM). To understand how the app is used, identify crashes, and improve performance. The analytics SDK may collect device type, OS version, app version, session duration, and general usage events. It does not collect personally identifiable information.
Diagnostic log data In the event of an error, the app may generate on-device logs (via SwiftyBeaver) including device model, OS version, app configuration, and timestamps. Debug logs are stored locally on your device only and are not transmitted to us unless you explicitly share a log file for support. To help diagnose and fix bugs.

We do not collect your name, email address, location data, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information as part of normal app usage.

3. iCloud and Your Privacy

Battery data synced via Apple's CloudKit infrastructure is stored in your personal iCloud account. We have no ability to access, read, or export any data stored in your private iCloud container. Apple's Privacy Policy governs how iCloud stores and protects your data.

4. Bluetooth

On iOS and macOS, the app requests Bluetooth access to discover and read battery levels from nearby peripherals. Bluetooth scanning only occurs while the app is in use (or in the background if you grant background refresh permission). Device names and battery levels discovered via Bluetooth are stored locally on your device and synced to your iCloud as described above. Bluetooth data is never shared with us or any third party.

5. Third-Party Services

The following third-party SDKs are included in the app. Each has its own privacy terms:

Service Purpose Platform Privacy Policy
Umeng Analytics (UMCommon, UMDevice, UMAPM) Anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting iOS only umeng.com/policy
Apple CloudKit Private iCloud sync iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS apple.com/legal/privacy

These third parties are permitted to use the information only to perform the services described above and are not authorized to use it for other purposes.

6. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers. The only data leaving your device is:

7. Data Retention and Deletion

All battery data is stored in your iCloud account and on your device. You can delete it at any time by removing AllMyBatteries from your devices and clearing the iCloud data via Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Local data is deleted when you uninstall the app. We do not retain your data on our own servers.

Anonymous analytics data held by Umeng is subject to Umeng's own retention policy.

8. Security

Battery data in transit to iCloud is encrypted by Apple's CloudKit infrastructure using industry-standard TLS. Data at rest in iCloud is encrypted by Apple. We employ commercially reasonable practices to protect any information we do handle, but no electronic storage method is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

9. Children's Privacy

AllMyBatteries is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at AllMyBatteries@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete that information. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the minimum age is 16, or lower if your country permits parental consent.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we do not maintain servers with your personal data (it is stored in your own iCloud), most requests can be fulfilled by managing your iCloud data directly on your device. For any questions or requests, contact us at AllMyBatteries@gmail.com.

California residents (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale (which does not apply here). Contact us to exercise these rights.

11. Links to Other Sites

The app or support pages may contain links to third-party websites. These sites are not operated by us and we have no control over their content or privacy practices. We strongly recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of AllMyBatteries after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
